Book Description
With the assistance of graduate
students (U. of Texas-El Paso), Son, Gabriel Thomas, and Benjamin
C. Flores condense the considerable literature on motion compensation
as it relates to inverse synthetic aperture radar mapping, which is
a particular form of range-Doppler imaging.
Their purpose is to introduce practicing radar engineers to some of
the advanced methods used to analyze and synthesize the echo transfer
functions of the radar's targets.
They cover three approaches to measuring the phase slope of the target
signature: basic phase- difference, least-squares estimation, and
weighted least-squares estimation.
